Batsford Solitaire
2 decks. Difficult. No redeal.
Batsford Solitaire uses two decks (104 cards). It is a Klondike type game similar to Double Klondike. You have 10 tableau piles with the number of cards per pile increasing from one to ten from left to right. The top card is face up.
Aces are moved to the 8 foundations as they become available.
You also have one reserve pile. This pile is a storage location for Kings. Up to 3 Kings can be placed here during play. The top King is available to play.
The object of the game
To build the foundations up in suit to kings.
The rules
The top cards of tableau piles, waste and reserve piles are available to play. You can build tableau piles down in sequence and alternating color. One card or group of cards in the proper sequence can be moved from pile to pile. If, during play, any closed cards becomes the top card of a stack, it turns over.
Empty tableaus may be filled with a King or group of cards headed by a King.
When a King becomes available and there are no available empty tableaus, it can be temporarily placed on the reserve pile.
When you have made all the moves initially available, begin turning over cards from the stock pile.
There is no redeal.
