Braid Solitaire
2 decks. Average. 2 redeals.
Braid Solitaire uses 104 cards (2 decks). 20 cards are dealt in the form of a braid. This is the open reserve. The next 12 tableau piles with one card in each pile are placed around the reserve. The next card is placed above. It will be the starter card of the foundation. The 7 remaining cards of the same rank will be placed next to it during play as soon as they become available.
The object of the game
To build the foundations up in suit until each pile contains thirteen cards.
The rules
The uncovered card of the reserve, cards of tableaus and the top card of the waste pile are available to play. You can move cards on foundations in ascending order in suit. As soon as you move a card from the
T2 tableau pile, one from the waste or stock pile automatically replaces it. When you move a card from the
T1 tableau pile, one from the reserve automatically replaces it.
When you have made all the moves initially available, begin turning over cards from the stock pile. You cannot move cards between reserve piles and tableau piles or from one tableau pile to another one.
You have two redeals.
