Fort Solitaire uses 104 cards (2 decks). 21 cards are dealt in the form of a braid. This is the open reserve. The next 12 tableau piles with one card in each pile are placed around the reserve. An Ace and King of each suit are removed from the deck to form the foundation piles.

The object of the game
Build the aces up in suit to kings, and the kings down in suit to aces.

The rules
Cards of tableaus and the top card of the waste pile are available to play. As soon as you move the card from the T2 tableau pile, one from the waste or stock piles automatically replaces it. When you move the card from the T1 tableau pile, one from the reserve automatically replaces it. You cannot move cards directly from the reserve.

When you have made all the moves initially available, begin turning over cards from the the stock pile.

Fort solitaire
