Masked Twelve Solitaire
1 deck. Average. 2 redeals.
This solitaire uses one deck (52 cards). You have 8 tableau piles. At the start of the game the 1st and the 8th pile contains 1 card, the 2nd and the 7th pile contains 3 cards, the 3rd and the 6th pile contain 5 cards, and the 4th and the 5th pile contains 7 cards. Every second card in each pile is face-down.
You have 4 foundations.
Aces are moved to the foundations as they become available.
The object of the game
To build the foundations up in suit to Kings.
The rules
The top cards of tableau piles and the waste pile are available to play. You may build tableau piles down in sequence and alternating color. One card or group of cards in the proper sequence can be moved from pile to pile. If, during play, any closed cards becomes the top card of a stack, it is automatically turned over. Empty tableaus may be filled with a King or group of cards headed by a King.
When you have made all the moves initially available, begin turning over cards from the stock pile. One card at a time is turned over from the stock. You can move cards from the stock pile to the tableau piles and to the foundations according to the rules above.
You have two redeals.
Tip: You can move cards from the foundations back to the tableaus, if that helps you to win.
