Matrimony Solitaire uses 104 cards (2 decks). You have 16 tableau piles with 1 card per pile. 8 foundation piles are placed above the tableau piles. A Jack and a Queen of each suit are removed from the deck to form the foundation piles during play.

The object of the game
Build the jacks down in suit to queens, and the queens up in suit to jacks.

The rules
The top cards of tableau piles are available to play on foundations. You cannot move cards from one tableau pile to another.

When you have made all the moves initially available, click on the stock pile to deal one card on each tableau pile. The last deal will be only eight cards. After you have made all the available plays on the board, click on the empty stock pile to rearrange cards in tableau piles in a special way. The top card of the last tableau pile is dealt to its own place, the remainder are dealt to the first tableau pile and so on until the cards run out. This can be repeated for each of the 16 tableau piles.

Matrimony is a very difficult game to win. Success in this game depends mostly of luck. Wins are extremly rear.
