Odessa Solitaire uses one deck (52 cards). You have 7 tableau piles with 6 cards per pile (dealt 3 face down, 3 face up). Then 2 additional cards are dealt, face up, to each of central five piles.
You have 4 foundation piles.
Aces are moved to the foundations as they become available.
The object of the game
To build the foundations up in suit to Kings.
You may build tableau piles down in suit. Groups of cards can be moved regardless of any sequence provided the bottom card of the sequence to be moved is one rank lower than the top card of the destination pile.
Empty tableaus may be filled with a King or group of cards headed by a King.
Wins are rare.
Odessa is a variant of Russian Solitaire with a different starting tableau.
